Wear loose-fitting and comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Choose items that are easy to put on and take off, as you may need to change into a gown or shorts depending on the type of treatment.

Do I have to be referred by a doctor?
No, physiotherapists can assess and treat without referral by a doctor. However most health insurers require a doctors referral before they authorise cover of fees, some only require a phone call.
